🌟 THE PETER THOMSON MEMORIAL MATCH SATURDAY 27 APRIL 2024 🌟

As a tribute to Peter Thomsons’ unmatched dedication to SSAA Sydney, we are proud to hold this inaugural match in Peter’s honour at the range he loved most – Anzac Rifle Range, Malabar.

Peter dedicated more than 30 years of his life to SSAA Sydney, serving on the Sydney Committee for 17 years, SSAA P/L Board member, and volunteer Range Officer at Anzac and Holroyd range, and had a passion for introducing new shooters to the sport. Peter sadly passed away at Anzac Range last year, but this match will commemorate & celebrate his birthday on 25th April. Peter will be forever in our hearts 🎈

All proceeds from the entry fee will be donated to a charity nominated by Peter’s family.

🌟 Match start: 9.30 am
🌟 Finish 12.30 pm
🌟 Lunch: Sausage sizzle from 12.30 pm
🌟 Range: 100 m
🌟 Precision Rifle: .223

To register for Peter’s inaugural match:

The match is for individuals to compete in a round-robin style at 100m with a shoot-off for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. Trophies and prizes will be awarded to winners as well as a prize for the Junior shooter (under 18) on the day. This will be a .223 Precision Rifle match.

SSAA Sydney – Anzac Service range will be used exclusively for this event, however non-competing members & Try Shooters may shoot following the match from 12.30-3.00 pm.
