SSAA Sydney is pleased to announce that we have negotiated further range time for our members on ANZAC Range, Malabar.
Starting this Saturday, 20th February, we will now be operating the Service Range (at distances between 100 - 400m) all day on Saturdays in addition to our already allocated Range Time.
Further to the above and commencing on Sunday 28 February, we will also have access to the site on a Sunday.
Members need to be aware that opening the ANZAC Range comes with a significant cost and therefore members need to make the effort to utilise the site in order for it to remain open. If we don't get the patronage, we won't be able to keep the site open.
CALLING ALL RANGE OFFICERS AND VOLUNTEERS:
In order to keep the running costs down and to ensure that we operate the range according to the requirements and range standing orders, we require more volunteers and Range Officers to help out on range days.
Watch our website www.ssaasydney.net to see what distances we are shooting each week.
If you are planning on visiting Anzac Range to shoot with us, please bear in mind that SSAA Sydney has access to the Anzac Range under a signed agreement with the NSW Rifle Association. This agreement imposes strict controls on our use of the range. If we breach those rules we can be once again summarily removed from accessing the range.
